Cancellation Policy

INITIAL CONSULTATION AGREEMENT / CANCELLATION POLICY This Initial Consultation Agreement is made between Regulated Immigration Consultant (RCIC) Gia Ozge Baydar Eren (the "RCIC"), Membership Number R532465 and the client for the purpose of providing professional guidance on matters and questions relating to the specific Canadian Immigration case. The Client is obliged to pay a fee of CAD $200 for 1 hr consulation session or CAD $100 for 30 min consulation session, plus GST/HST if the client is physically in Canada at the time of the consultation. Cancellation is required at minimum 24 hours prior to appointment, and is subject to an administration fee of CAD $20 plus processing fees. No charge for re-scheduling within 2 weeks. By taking the consultation the client has no obligation to hire the consultant for any further immigration procedures. Taking the consultation does not imply that the consultant represents the client before any immigration authorities. Should the client have additional questions after the 60 minutes or 30 minutes of consultation have passed, scheduling another appointment will be needed, unless a representation contract is signed. For greater clarity, should the client need assistance after the consultation, there is the option of scheduling another meeting or to hire the consultant for complete assistance. The consultation is done online over the designated video call program. For this, the client should have a working microphone, headset or speakers, and if possible, a camera. The legal basis of the counseling is the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and it's Regulations, immigration laws, regulations and instructions of the Canadian provinces, and it is done according to the consultant's best knowledge and based on the information provided by the client. Due to the changing nature of immigration law and procedures, all information and advice is accurate only as of the date of the consultation. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Please be advised that Gia Ozge Baydar Eren is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, and as such, is bound by its By-law, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations. By booking an appointment and paying the associated fees, the Client acknowledges and agrees to all conditions mentioned on this agreement.
